Experiencing Adelaide
Coming from Darwin, we flew for about 3.5 hours to reach Adelaide. After a swift boarding process, we landed and were ready to explore the Adelaide attractions. We took a bus to the Central Business District, where we stayed at The Chancellor on Currie, a lovely hotel situated centrally on Currie Street.
Despite the 17-degree weather and slight drizzle, we quickly adjusted, and soon the sun broke through, making our exploration much more pleasant.

After checking in, we set out to explore the city which was adorned in a modest Christmas spirit. Compared to cities like Sydney and Melbourne, the decorations were subtle, which made the discovery more enjoyable.

Passing through Adelaide’s vibrant streets, we found many charming cafes and restaurants catering to all tastes. From Italian to Indian cuisine, finding a delightful dining spot is never a challenge.

We also enjoyed breakfast at Malt and Juniper, where the friendly service and delicious food made our morning memorable. Additionally, Hains & Co offers a pleasant environment to relax with local patrons.

Greenery Around Adelaide
As we continued exploring, we discovered the lush green spaces surrounding the city. Walking along the river towards the Botanical Gardens was refreshing, and we came across the impressive Adelaide Oval, one of the most iconic Adelaide attractions.

In the afternoon, we decided to take the train to Port Adelaide, an area known for its developing vibe. Here, you can catch a dolphin-watching boat tour or visit the Railway Museum.
